Radio Internships

Frank Knapp’s “U Need 2 Know” radio show offers internships each semester. If you want to get behind the scenes and learn what it takes to produce a talk-radio show, let us know.

Duties for “U Need 2 Know” interns include scheduling interviews with guests on current events, local/national news and organizations. Topics covered on our show include the law, non-profit organizations, senior issues, legislation, health care, and local/state news.

University juniors and seniors are preferred. The internship(s) will require a 15-20 hour time commitment each week. The intern(s) will assist with all aspects of the radio show including scheduling guest interviews, scouting for prospective guests and segment sponsors, archiving and posting podcasts of previous shows, and maintaining the “U Need 2 Know” web site, Facebook page and Twitter page.

Internships are available for the Fall, Spring and Summer.
